i don't know. consider either no fuel or too much fuel.
friend's 1990 Suzuki was getting too much fuel. car has small brass temperature sensor in the air cleaner. mechanic said $88 for new one. i picked one up at auto recycler for $2.
you could test for NO FUEL by spraying some 'starter fluid'
into the throtle body/air intake and try turing it over, without
touchimg the gas pedal. best of luck.
The fuel filter only has 2 hoses, an in and an out. The thing with more hoses is the gas tank evaporative system, and they go to the charcoal canister, the intake manifold, and the gas tank. The filter is usually in back next to the gas tank, where the pump is, so that the pump never runs dry. But some times it is up front. Often is it threaded on. The 3 lines are for the charcoal canister though, and it not the filter.
check your idle jet isnt blocked in your carb,,if you can rev the motor up hi put a rag over the air intake on the carb,,hold onto it,,as the motor starts to die remove the rag ,this should **** the block out of the idle jet ,
DID YOU EVER CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER, ALSO COULD BE FUEL PUMP IN TANK ,,, CHECK FUEL PRESSURE !!!! OR VACCUM LEAK.. LISTEN FOR AIR A HISSING NOISE.......
hello. Your carberator injectors are partially gummed up. go to any auto parts store and get two cans of a product call seafoam. Follow the directions on the can regarding how much you use per gallon of gas in the tank. After you have run some seafoam through the carberator it will solve your problem.
maybe ur intake is too dirty, remove the air inlet hose that comes from the air filter to the intake. Insert a finger in there and check to see if its black and oily, if so, clean ur intake with intake cleaner can. Also ur MASS AIR FLOW could be defective in which case ur CHECK ENGINE light would be lit in the dash console.
