Need owners manual for 1983 el camino for visual diagram of engine oil dipstick located on a 1983 chevy el camino

My manual shows the location as being toward the back on the left side of the engine (as you're sitting in the driver's seat), but my 2001 Blazer's is on the opposite side in the same place.

I have a 1983 Royal Knight SS. Had the same problem. Had my wiper motor and washer pump replaced. works like a dream now. replaced my original combination turn signal wiper switch on steering column and now have good working intermittent wipers. It is great to see driving in the rain now. Jackson  in ATL

oil is yellow and the tranny is red and the trany dipstick is the fill. Filter is on the passanger side below the exhaust.

most likely a weak fuel pump or a clogged filter. Check fuel pressure with a gauge or as its bogging down spray brake cleaner in the Throttle Body. If this allows it to increase RPM then its the pump or filter.
