Wrenches or sockets are your preference. You need a 10mm, 13mm, 15mm and a long screw driver/ pry bar. Loosen the bleeder valve(10MM). Use the screwdriver and pry the caliper all the way open, keep pressure on ti and close the bleeder valve.Use the 13 or 15mm to remove the caliper. Replacethe brake pads. Install the calipers. You shouldn't have to bleed them. Press the brake pedal several times before trying to move the vehicle.
Besides regular hand tools and socket sets, the first thing you will see are the front caliper retaining bolts or screws. GM cars often used large hex key fittings to loosen those, but expect anything on the caliper bolts, a lot of variation between years and models.
Your very best tool is a repair manual for the rendezvous, with step by step instructions. They cost about 26-30 dollars.
