IT IS LOCATED ON A BRACKET ATTACHED TO SERPENTINE BELT TENSIONER ON RIGHT SIDE OF ENGINE..2 PIN CONNECTOR AND 1 IGNTION(COIL)WIRE..2 SCREWS HOLD IT TO BRACKET..YOU MAY HAVE TO REMOVE BRACKET TO ACCESS SCREWS OR THEY MAY BE SEIZED

try the ignition coil connector and the ground on the coil which is through the screws holding the coil on, i removed and reinstalled the screws with lock washers to help the ground issue

For ALL 2004 Dodge RAM (1500, 2500, and 3500) (2WD and 4WD) 5.7L V8 Hemi:

.........Firing Order:
Coil...1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Plug..6-5-7-2-1-8-4-3

This should have been located at the top of the your Intake Manifold.

1998 Dodge Ram 1500 has fire from coil but not to plugs. pickup seams ok.

The ignition module is probably bad. Remove it, and take it to a local parts store, they will typically test it for free.
