How do I disconnect my car alarm?

depends on design on unit, on most you can simply disconnect system power and youre good to go. other in line systems require un installing the unit. either way sounds like the system is causing more problems than its solving. i would suggest removing it entirely

the system is either hooked to the battery or it has a fuse try disconnecting them

Would youlike to remove the alarm,its a aftermarket alarm,you got 2 ways of starting it through the engine compartment using the starter solenonoid.Go under the dash (you will have to disconnect the alarm horn) under the dash near the ignition switch you will see where they have bypassed the starter ignition and connected a relay. on the relay is one of your starter wire on the other is the other part of the starter wire remove the relay and establish the connection orginally and you are done.

1. Open the Fuse box and find out the relay called "ST".

2. Then you will see the relay label with 1, 2, 3 and 6.

3. Unplug the relay and then turn the car key to on, ready a wire which both end plastic cover has been cut.

4. Connect both end of the wire to the relay slot 3 and 6. Once the car started then disconnects the wire from the relay.

This is going to be hard without a picture but bear with me go under the dash there you need to find the alarm relay then find a small transducer with those found find its ground you wil be able to identify it cut it. or better yet disconnect the transducer you find a small 4 X 3 inch box it wire is aftermaket black tape disconnect it, or cut it with engine off key off , then find where they tap in to the ignition wire you will see where your wire started and got cut and when into a relay find the other half cut it and restore the ignition where it was bypass, find you sucessfully eliminated the alarm cut the alarm horn or bettery yet just remove the alarm fuse and cut the alarm horn you will see it when you are under the dash manufacture wires are nice a clean and aftermarket alarm installer there wire is messy wrapped in tape on tape

Disconnect the fuse for the alarm system or unplug horn relay system to change battery if you unplug fuse you will have to reset the alarm, be sure you know how to do this before disconnecting the fuse to the alarm system. Hope this helps.

Opening the trunk with the key (not the valet key) will shut off the alarm.

Can't offer help on permanently disabling the alarm.

If this is a factory alarm all you have to do to turn it off is put your key in the door ,lock it then unlock it . if its not a factory alarm you will need the remote or have the entire alarm unhooked by a mechanic
