I have a 1999 nissan frontier. I ran it out of gas on accident. I cannot find a reset button. I replaced tthe fuel filter. The engine is getting gas right up to the fuel injector but will not push it in...

If the pump is running and there is a good fuel pressure at the injectors, a reset button is unlikely to help - the inertia switch cuts the fuel pump in case of a collision and resetting it will only switch it back on. The switch is sometimes on display in the engine compartment but mostly hidden away and the location will be found in the vehicle handbook as the location is likely to change depending on territory.

If the pump is running and fuel is at the injectors it is clear the injector pulses are absent. That might be a sensor has failed or perhaps the immobiliser hasn't properly disarmed.

Engine cranks but wont start, will fire with starting fluid, fuel pump is turning on

1) you need to check if there is enough gas in the tank
2) check for spark in the sparkplugs
3) make sure the gas is clean and has no water in it

Where is fuel pump reset on a 2003 nissan murano

There is no fuel pump reset. If ou rainout of gas you may have ruined the fuel pump. The only manufacturer that uses a resettable intertia switch is ford. This will only trip in the event of an accident to shut off the power pump.

Ran out of gas in a 2001 jeep cherokee limited 4.7 awd now it wont crank is it the fuel pump or is there a relay or reset

Not aware of any re-set on Jeeps. But you said it won't crank? Starter is not working? Please clarify.
If it won't crank over from the starter, your problem is in the start circuit, and not affected by fuel pump operation. So, please reply.

2002 Ford Explorer ran out of gas put gas in and won't restart. replaced fuel pump and fuel filter still won't start. Cranks but won't start

Most Fords have a fuel reset button. When you ran out of gas you tripped the circuit. Most of the time the button will be on the passenger side by the kick panel. The exact location should be in your owners manual or your local library or auto parts store will have a copy of one for your specific vehicle.

My nissan frontier was working okay but as I was going down the road, I started to loose power and then it died. all lights came on. I thought that it was a fuel filter problem so swapped it out. Still no...

the battery gets the starter running, the alternator recharges the battery and also takes care of the accessories. simple test for the alternator, test voltage without running engine, then test again with engine running, you should get 12 volts when off and 14 to 16 while running.

Hooking up a fuel pressure gauge an seeing if the fuel pump is in fact charging the fuel system . Checking the electrical circuit , fuel pump relay , Instead of guessing as to what the problem is , Test ,Test an test . If you do not know how to do automotive electrical testing there are videos on youtube . The fuel pump will not be turned on again if the engine computer does not see a signal from the crankshaft position sensor . Instead of being fixated on the fuel , check for spark .
