Need to know where is the location of switch to turn on the radiator fan

1995 Isuzu Rodeo is equipped with a belt driven fan with a viscous fan clutch for engine cooling. The electric fan is for A/C condensor cooling only. The condensor fan is switched on and off by the A/C fan relay, which is operated by the triple pressure switch located in the A/C line on the left side of the engine compartment.

DO NOT
attempt to replace the triple pressure switch without first using the proper equipment to evacuate and recover the freon in the A/C system. The A/C system is under high pressure and attempts to replace parts without discharging the system can result in serious injury.

Where is the ac fan switch on a 1998 plymouth breeze

The fan is controlled through the ECM in these models. There is a trigger switch built into the fan module itself. To get to it you will have to remove the fan itself. In most cases, when this switch goes out the fan must be replaced. There should be a relay located in the power Distribution box located in the engine compartment.

Cooling fans will not come on

Hi,

Fan Relay switch is stuck open. This of course assumes your temperature sensor is working appropriately. Which I assumed since you seem to know that the engine is running hot.

Replace the fan relay switch. The relay switch is tripped when the temperature sensor tells the computer the engine is too hot.

Until you get the relay switch replaced, you can either by-pass the relay switch and directly connect the fans to the battery, or turn on your A/C ALL the time and use it at a minimum setting. This will keep the cooling fans running at all times.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

No current going into the fan switch or fan motor on a 2005 dodge 2500 pickup. Where are the fuses located for these two?

There is a relay located in the engine. and there is a relay for the fan in the wiring going to the fan. You are going to have to trace the wiring from the fan back to the point of where the relay is located.

Good Luck
