The Vehicle Speed Sensor should be located right near where the RF axle shaft goes into the transmission.

SOURCE: Dodge Durango 1998 5.2L Output Speed Sensor code P0720 Location

Its in different locations depending on if its 2wd or 4wd. For 2wd its in front of the drice shaft or for 4wd its in the tranfer case, just look for a white shape like box with wires plugged into it and you need a socket to remove it, iam not sure how much it is to replace as the cost varies at different shops.

SOURCE: Transmission input output speed sensors

The speed sensor is on the tailshaft of the transmission,on the passenger side of the car,it has 3 wires. The output sensors are located on the front of the transmission about mid-way up the housing & only have 2 wires. Note the output sensors are not responsible for vehicle speed. Only the output shaft speed is recorded. They are for finding the correct cvi(clutch volume index) only. If you have a cvi issue, the transmission is toast.

Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

2012 Mazda 6 i input/output speed sensors location?

wow no country told. I will answer for USA only, period.
this is all basics , first.
we learn what exact engine/transmissiion is there.
mazda may use Aisin transmission, from Japan. and has a real name.
way drip any tranny pan on a whim and a bath in ATF everywhere.
why not scan the CAR (USA?) with any obd2 scan tools 2008 up made is best.
see the errors and check levels correctly per the manual do not guess how.
most autostores will scan it for free, why not do that first.
what if sad transmission is too hot and is engines too hot cause.
never guess, or make it worse. as most do, for sure overfilling the box most times, then foams up and the good tranny is now a WRECK
$3000 error that.
the wiki show these boxes

see there are 2 boxes used. and they are NOT THE SAME AT ALL

scan it first and avoid horrors;. throwing parts asks for trouble big time.

2010 is generation 8th of 11.
sedan or coupe?????????????????????
output speed sensor i guess someone scanned the cars PCM and belched out DTC secret untold code>> (what if you looked up DTC wrong, ouch)
double ouch.(fibbing to me)
27 body styles in USA> sold. 2door and 4 and omg HYBRID cars.
NO USA VIN told to look up and gee, what is there is patently obvious..
2door DX CAR. KA , 5AT CAR. 5 SPEED BOX !
There is my wild and near useless guess, but shows you how to learn what is under the hood, (NO VIN told NO JOY)
gee the honda dealer, flat (parts) refused to to talk to you lacking the VIN.
engine 1.8liters (guess) gas or CNG? (natural gas compressed)

or 2.0L? or 1.3L , oops lots.
5AT box.? (I guess this)
the problem with transmission vast on this car are
that some sensors can be deep inside the box. OK
super common that now..
or speed sensors are not used there, due to ABS x4 sensors are all that is needed, like my 08 up jeeps do.
see???????????????
why the hunt post, why not scan the PCM and post all DTC there,
and ask what to do and end this silly useless hunt stuff.???

but I will now show the DTC reports for all speed sensors
2010 DX civic USA.
one car manual states (usa DX)

below is VIN decode on just the DX civic, a wild guess of 27 models sold in USA> see the engine code, see door code'
and transmissions,
vin-undefined-undefined-1.jpg
learn to post what's wrong first/
state evidence and symptoms first.
car shifts funny? and scanned it? and got a bunch of DTC errors and some internet dweebs told you wrong (endless)<<sure !!!
the codes in the HONDA manual only matter.
for sure DTC P07xx errors or any other P1,P2XXX CODES
OR ANY NONE P0XXX CODE MUST BE LOOKED UP IN THE SERVICE MANUAL HONDA FOR the correct model
sorry but that is how the cookie crumbles on todays complex cars.
for sure lots of computers on board, for sure.

NO DTC told NO JOY ever.

The North American version of the Soul was initially available in 2010 and 2011 with one of two inline four-cylinder gasoline engines. The base model is powered by a 1.6-liter unit producing 122 bhp (91 kW) and mated exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission.[15] Higher trims feature a 2.0-liter unit producing 142 bhp (106 kW)

Where is the heated o2 sensor (bank 2, sensor 1) on a 2010 chevy traverse located?

I would say it is the sensor screwed into the exhaust manifold on the passenger side of the engine. (I will guess that that side of the engine is Bank 2)
