ac units stop working from ,
low gas ( holes in the system)
too much gas ( high pressure from excess gas , blocked , tx valve , condenser fan not working)
ac relay not working ( faulty ac thermostat , faulty relay)
compressor not working( fuse , ac clutch inoperative)
Water in the system ( changing the compressor and not vacuuming down the system for 2 hours to boil of the moisture in the air when the system was opened-- ice in the refrigerant at the tx valve causing a blockage
Wrong gas in use ( lubricant is not compatible with the gas causing problems )
take it to an accredited ac specialist to have it fixed properly before the cost exceeds what you would have paid in the first place by taking it to a professional
I believe it has to b reset / retrained by dealer or mechanic who has ability to read what the vehicle is or isn't doing. If you don't hear the compressor running constantly, you most likely don't have a leak, basically it'll run long enough to level up the vehicle and you shouldn't hear it again. try and dissconnect the battery, for a minute or so try it again.
WELL TURN ON AC MAX COLD HIGH TO SEE IF COOLANT FANS TURN ON.IF NOT YOUR REFRIGERANT SO LOW THAT THE AC REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR WONT CLOSE CIRCUIT TO TURN ON COOLING FANS.MEANING YOU NEED HAVE AC CHECKED AND CHARGED.ALSO CHECK COMPRESSOR FOR POWER IF NOT YOU HAVE BLOWED FUSE OR BAD RELAY.IF FUSE AND RELAY GOOD YOUR AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH COIL OPEN OR THE AC CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD.IF COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING WHEN YOU TURN ON AC YOUR AIR TEMPERATURE ACTUATOR NOT WORKING.
look for Main A/C relay, look for fuses, or go to a/c shop and have gas check out, perhaps leaks, perhaps evaporator, perhaps condenser, but start for relay box on front passengers side, or fuses on same side
