You mite have a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the BCM - body control module , The BCM controls the interior lights ! Have you heard of a BCM ?
DTC B2615
The body control module (BCM) receives a ground signal from the door jamb, liftglass/liftgate, or courtesy lamp switches requesting courtesy/dome lamp illumination. When this occurs, the BCM directly sends a voltage through the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit illuminating the courtesy/dome lamps.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
?€¢
When the BCM receives a courtesy lamp illumination request signal and the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit is shorted to ground.

?€¢
When the BCM is not receiving a courtesy lamp illumination request signal and the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit is shorted to voltage or open only to the first splice from the BCM.

?€¢
There is a loss of the rear fuse block TBC 3 battery supply voltage to the BCM for more than 1 second

Diagnostic Aids
?€¢
Perform a visual inspection for loose or poor connections at all related components. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

?€¢
Only an open circuit up to the first splice from the BCM will set DTC B2615.

DTC B3801
The body control module (BCM) monitors the courtesy lamp switch signal circuit in order to determine when the courtesy/dome lamps should be illuminated. When the BCM senses that the courtesy lamp switch signal circuit is grounded when the switch is activated, the BCM will directly illuminate the courtesy/dome lamps. Do you know what a scan tool is ? not a code reader !

SOURCE: interior lights won't come on

Hi! Further to my collegues advice I would be looking at the interior light switch on the light itself. There should be three positions, 1 lights on permanently, 2 lights on door open and finally 3 lights off completly.
Also make sure the driver and passenger door switches located round the perimeter are all clean and not corroded or stuck in.
There you are another problem Fix~Ya'd.
Please remember to press blue button as I do this to help! not for money!

SOURCE: dome light wont turn off

some times the door switch can be faulty. and it may be coincidence that the interior switch is faulty too. i have owned alot of S- series trucks and a few of them have done this to me. you need to individually check each door for switch contact

SOURCE: Radio, Key auto door lock/opener, interior lights not working.

Most likely is a fuse. There is a fuse box at the end of the right side of the dash. Open front passenger door and there is a cover that says fuses on the end of dash. There is also a fuse box located under the hood at the right front of engine compartment. It should have a cover with a round knob in the middle of it .Unscrew the knob to remove cover.

SOURCE: interior light will not come on when doors are

Maybe check to see if your button next to your headlights switched is pushed in or out?

Testimonial: "Unbelievable. Makes me feel like an idiot! That was it. Now back to my original problem: The front windshield wipers will not turn off. "

I sprayed WD40 in the handle opening and moved it up and down a few times and sprayed some in the latch and it went away.

Interior of car is dark at night.

There should be a button inside the door arch, on the hinged side, that activates the interior lights when the door is opened, this button also turns the light off when the door is closed.
Find this button and push / activate it manually with your hand.
If the light is not turning on and off, check that the switch on the interior dome light is in the "DOOR" position, not the OFF or ON position. this is usually the middle position.
Check all the Auto door light buttons on all doors, you may find one that is loose (not springing back into position) this will need replacing as it could be the cause of the interiour light on working automaticly.
I hope some of this helps

Interior lights staying on causing dead battery. also interior lights flash off and on when driving

Inside the door jamb is a little plunger the it pushed in when the door is closed. It sounds like it is not working properly. If it was working properly it turns on the interior lights when you open the door and turns them off when you close the door. Hope this helps.

No interior lights

There may be a dome light override switch that keeps the overhead light off when the doors are opened. Consult owners manual or see dealer.

The interior lights and running board lights stay

Check your DOME light switch. There are 3 positions. Completely OFF even with doors open, ON with doors shut so you can read while parked, NORMAL for the lights to come on only when the doors are open.

Your headlight switch will also turn everything ON inside when it is turned completely to one side. Just twist this switch a little towards center if this is on.

When we open the doors, the interior light do NOT

Check the dome light, there is supposed to be a three-position switch; off, on constant and on when door opens...try that switch and see if the lights come on...if that doesn't work, check the bulb to see if it is burned out and if that doesn't work, check the fuse panel for a blown fuse...

Interior light is not on whrn doors open

Did you check the switch next to the interior light on the roof? Honda's have a switch position that turns off the dome light completely, so it won't work when the doors are opened or not shut tightly. There are 3 positions, dome light on all the time, dome light on only when door is opened, or ajar, and dome light off. I must say, I love Honda's, but I find this switch annoying!
