I have replaced all broken or rotten lines on a 2003 elantra and I have bench bled the master cylinder and bled all brake lines. there are no brakes on the drivers side front and back, the drivers caliper will not engage and the brake pedal will go right to the floor, there seems to be no fluid going to the drivers caliper but there is fluid in the line...
Keep bleeding it'll feel like forever bu t pedal will come up
I replaced 2 more lines and a wheel cylinder tonight and now I have fluid going to all wheels but now there is absolutely nothing...put it in reverse and it took off on me, glad it has somewhat of an emergency brake lol
bleed takes forever --when bleeding is the fluid going down in master cylinder when replacing lines and calipers/wheel cylinders you will refill those a few times to get air out- also check the flex /rubber lines that can bulge or collapse

If this has anti-lock brakes it may be the HCU(hydraulic control unit) may have air in it. it may have to be activated to get all the air out.
where is the HCU located on this car? I have viewed a guide to remove/install an HCU online but the picture for this guide is extremely hard to understand...
