SOURCE: want start but you can hear the starter clicking ,
If your convinced your battery is good, this would point to a starter relay failure. On some models this is already incorporated into the starter assembly. On others you will have to go to the auto parts store and ask for it, as it is a seperate component. This issue smells like a weak battery though. Use jumper cables off a running vehicle and make a start attempt after 10 minutes. If it fires up you know a battery is what was getting you.

well, it doesn't have to be the alternator itself, but it would be wise to check its leads and also the leads of the starter.
Is your battery charged?? even if your car stereo runs fine, the battery still might be out of charge too much to turn the engine...
What does happen when you put it on idle? Do the gauges start up normally? Does the CD play fine? All the dashboard lights light up as they should? If there's any weird behaviour, it's possible there's a short circuit somewhere... If it's OK, try to fire up the engine and watch the dashboard, all the gauges and lights(+the radio). Everything works as usual? if not you are likely to have a short circuit before your alternator, or maybe starter(not that common and if you hear a click it's likely that starter is OK)
MAKE SURE the battery is WELL charged! you could have drained it listening to some music in the car after killing the engine.
my truck is doing the exact same, but my fuse box is melted... any thoughts what could be wrong?
