Start by checking the fuse as it is the easiest place to start. If fuse good, you need to check for power and ground directly at the horn itself. Some horns are not very accessable and are hard to find / get at. There are a variety of possibilites that can cause a horn to not work.....
fuse
relay
horn unit
horn pad
clock spring
wiring
body control module
It may be necessary to have a shop look at it due to the complexity of todays electronics

2007 Ford Explorer horn quit working?

suggest checking if 12 volts goes to horn wire at horn end when horn pressed from inside vehicle. A 12 Volt probe {google it} can be a cheap checking tool for this.
If 12v volts is switched when button is pressed {could be earth being switched if it is then place probe on constant 12 volts and negative lead on switched earth wire} then the horn itself is faulty.
If no voltage switched then horn relay needs to be checked. check if voltage at horn relay coil contact when button pressed.
if yes then relay may be faulty. if no then horn switch could be faulty.
you can check switched voltage also at horn relay switched contact when relay plugged in. To see if relay is doing what it is meant to do

My horn quit working

check fuses first then voltage to horn while someone pushes it, if thats good open horn button (pull off) and clean contacts that send voltage from horn button to wire going to horn. Make sure good contact and no bent parts. This fixed mine.

The horn dosn't work. Is it easy to fix?

The horn itself is a simple mechanism. It must have good power and ground connections. First check your horn fuse to ensure it's not blown. If the fuse is okay, then test the horn by connecting a wire to the positive terminal and touching it briefly to the connection for power at the horn. If the horn comes on you have a problem between the connector and power. If the horn does not come on it may have a poor ground or the horn may itself be faulty (this rarely happens but it's not unheard of). The horn is simply a metal plate that vibrates due to a coil that's powered when you push the horn switch. I have experienced a few horns that seem to change their sound then quit working by spraying into the horn a 2 or 3 second burst of WD40 or some silicone spray. Do not do this when the horn switch is being pushed as the sprays I mentioned are very flamable. Good luck.

My 2005 Sonata's horn just quit working, the only other thing thats not working right is the gas milage gage

Two separate problems (disassociated). Horn -- could be the fuse, wiring or the horn itself. Gas milage gauge is a micro-computer system. Take your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Classic and my horn just stopped working about a week ago. I noticed first that it didn't sound when I activated my alarm, then confirmed it when someone cut me off in traffic and I...

it usually shares a fuse with dome lights and/or radio you may have other electrical accesories not working; also the horn itself could have quit working
