so if battery is charged to 12.6vdc rested
you do have blown fuse(s)
so why not buy a 10 buck voltmeter and find it.
KEYON
we measure both sides of fuse (to ground) for 12vdc.
0v is blown fuse.
easy huh< fuses that look good can be in fact bad.
use a meter and win. every time.
ok you can try cleaning it up and if that dont work replace it and what you could do too is check your fuel pressure and i would replace the coolant temp/sensor as well that may be your problem
your battery could have a dead cell and still register 12 volts when not running,, if your getting 13.67 volts on the posts with the car running, the alt is fine,, but the battery is faulty,, take it and have it load checked, that way you can be sure it has the amperage that its supposed to have,
My solution is to get rid of this car immediately!! I had that happen to me. I had my mechanic check it and it was fine about 2 weeks later the car completely died because there is a defect with the 2004 Rav4 2.4l 4cyl. engine. Toyota never recalled this defect and now I am stuck with a car that is worth NOTHING. The top of the engine is put on with a metal/screw that is too soft. It separates and then antifreeze leaks out forcing the car to overheat. There is really no way to fix this besides dropping a new engine. I am stuck without a car and at a total loss. I will NEVER buy a Toyota again. Good luck!
I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?
