I have just bought a Mercedes 240 clk and when parked up the battery go,s completely flat is this a common fault

When i turn the key in the ignition nothing happens at all it doesnt even try to turn over. It is not a flat battery or fuel.I turn the key and it is completly life less

check for battery connections and main fuses

If you are looking for user info to operate properly, you can likely get the info from a service like "All Data" ( alldatadyi.com ) They are an on-line service/repair manual supplier.
If you're looking for the factory manuals, I'd look on Ebay or similar sites, check salvage yards, used book stores (maybe find a store who specializes in car and truck literature) and car swap-meets are a GREAT source for manuals. Good luck!

Hi i have a clk soft top year 2000 i have taken battery off to re charge it ive put it back and the seat wont move either way and the gear select will not move out of park only when i insert a pen and push...

Re-moving the battery has reset all all the memory settings to a factory default, the only way around it is to talk to Mercedes. Its all very similar to removing your battery without making sure you know the radio code, but, thanks to mercedes, more expensive.

I have a mercedes clk 230, for some reason the convertible hood will not complete the final part of going into the boot.. can you tell me why this may be happening, it has never happened before

Mine is having the same problem. What was wrong with yours? I hope it is nothing major.

2002 clk - srs light on all the time

think this is a dealer job ,the radio is connected via a big computerised circuit board behind the centre column of the dash .try giving the wires under the front seats a wiggle and make sure their are no coke cans or anything else under seats to damage the connections for the explosive seat belt restraint puller devices

Hi, I have a Mercedes CLK 320 and the radio doesn't work.

I purchased a MB CLK 320 and set the radio frequency and successfully put the freq in memory, however, the radio blinks tthe freq. Is this normal or do I have to enter another key to stop the radio from blinking?

Mercedes clk 320 will not start

i have a 2000 clk320. it would not start sometimes, the engine would crank but it wont start. but after an hour or so it would start. sometime i'll get somewhere park, and come out an hour later and the engine would not start. if your having the same problem, take it to autoparts store ex: autozone or kragen. they could check your battery for free. and if its not the battery. than it could either be your fuel pump. or the crank position sensor. good luck. hopefully this help.

Battery may have a bad cell or a parasitic drain in the electrical system. Have you had the alternator and battery load tested ?

If bought from a used /new car dealer bring back and advise about drain usually a very limited warranty on vehicle ---if private sale call ask prev owner it ever had problem or how old battery is --check all accessories and lights and accessory plugs (some are battery direct)-have battery and alternator checked most auto stores offer this service for free
