You have a problem with the blower motor resistor. This is a very commen problem on all gm cars and light trucks. The part is not to pricey. You can find the resistor under the glove box buy the blower motor. Two bolts and out it comes.

A P0010 code refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car's PCM (powertrain control module). Hello Pete...This is a common problem on the Cobalt, you have a defective switch. GM issued a bulletin on this problem. The ignition switch and housing were replaced to correct it,
Talk to your dealer about it, they are aware of it and should repair it at no cost to you.

for starters you should have set your number one piston at top dead center (TDC) before you just changed the sensor, All it need is to be one or two teeth out on the timing chain to run rough, here is a link to a guide on how to solve this problem , I hope it helps:
