Follow the large bundle of wires in a large harness. This attaches to the computer's electrical connector. It's usually on the drivers side above below or near the battery or mounted on a fender. Chrysler had a habit of hiding the computer under the battery box in those days. Good luck.

1995 gmc serria computer location..... need to replace it

Hello Justabossman,

The ECM should be located behind the glove box or in the passenger side kick panel. I would first check behind the glovebox. Many of times you have to slide the computer out a bit in order to unhook it.

Good luck

I need change the computer in my dodge caravan 1999 v6 3.8

this is a fairly simple job. The location of the unit varies within the same year make and model.
Take your vin number and ask the local deal about recalls and -- where the location of you vehicle computer is - sometimes these are called brain boxes by dealers - - once located you will have little problem in removing and replacing the unit.

Where is this solenoid located

Hello. You do not need a solenoid with a P-2716 code.

You need a new computer.

Toyota is aware of this, and the new computer fixes the issue.

If your car has les than 80,000 miles on it, the replacement will be free.
