Check the alternator clutch, they use a special alternator pulley known as an "alternator clutch" and if they fail.. they knock similar to a rod, etc. And they sound really serious when they knock but an alternator clutch runs about $100.00 and is an easy local garage repair. Have it checked before you get into engine knocks as this noise is a very common on Dodge caravans that use the clutch.

The drain is located on the passenger side of the radiator at the bottom. Turn it counterclockwise to open. It is plastic so be careful if you decide to use tools to turn.

Misalignment of the belt, incorrect belt, worn or loose tensioner, Too tight of an adjustment (many service centers do this on purpose so when the belt breaks in it becomes properly adjusted, I do not believe in this philosophy), The belt is actually one long belt called a serpentine belt.....

Change your fuel filter and get the recommended fuel and fill it. The fuel could be causing knocking if it is a higher octane than the vehicle burns.
Check sparkplugs & rotor as well, misfiring can cause this as well.
Its not the starter. The starter quits working after the car starts.

Loud Knocking noise coming the top of the engine

possible but I would suggest a compression test to check for loose valve seat insert. They can come loose and follow the valve up and down and cause loud knocking noises and faulty engine operation.

Kia 2.4 optima 07 engine makes knocking noise when I press fuel pad to move..I can't press fuel pad strongly the knocking noise increases more and may broken the rings

Sound like you have spun a bearing do to a blown head gasket. Does the oil on the dipstick look almost like a chocolate milkshake in color? If so your coolant has reached the oil pan and that can definitely cause the engine to spin a bearing causing a loud knocking sound.

What could cause a loud knocking in my car engine

It could be a rod that hase came loose from the crankshaft or the piston. It could also be caused by overheated cylinders firing on exhaust strokes or firing early on compression strokes.

Loud ticking noise

Ticking is generally associated with a valvetrain problem but may be caused by low oil level or pressure. Noise is in the upper half of the engine. Knocking is from low oil pressure and is caused by worn bearings causing pressure loss. Knocking is the worse of both conditions (means overhaul or engine replacement.) Ticking needs to be checked for it's cause...if cause is low oil pressure, remember...oil pumps don't cause low oil pressure, pressure will lost if bearings are worn or pump inlet screen is plugged with carbon.

Car has loud knocking sound. gets louder with rev of engine.

Here's what you don't want to hear...A loud knocking noise from inside your engine is generally caused by a crank or rod bearing...when caught very early, sometimes they can be replaced. however, once the noise is loud, the attending crankshaft journal gets "hammered" out of shape and the job becomes very expensive and in most cases more costly than engine replacement. There is one other item that can cause a loud knock...your flywheel. Bearing problems generally cause low oil pressure. If you have that, it's gone...if not, have the flywheel checked before sending the engine to the scrapyard.
