Usually a sign of something draining the battery.
The machine test probably showed the battery could hold a charge and the alternator was charging the battery.
You may need to have someone check for a power drain.
When the key switch is off, there may be a weak short to ground or a relay or component that is using power.

My 2007 dodge charger didn't crank so I jumped it

A battery from 07 is still decently new to be that bad, but I would check the alternator first, just get the car running and unhook the positive cable from the battery, if the car dies the alternator is bad.

I brought a new battery and drove it for a couple of days and then it just cut off while driving got a jump and when i parked it it wouldn't start

well it sounds like the alternator is not charging properly. car off at battery there should be at least 12.6 volts. jump start car, when running if alternator is good battery voltage should be 14.2 to 14.6 good-day !!

Even a new battery will go dead if the car is running on the battery instead of the alternator.
Check alternator output.
First charge the battery up.
Then check voltage with a meter from Harbor Freight ($3).
Should be 12.5.
The start engine and rev it up.
Should go over 14.
But also clean and grease battery terminals, alternator terminals, and check engine ground strap.

1990 JEEP Cherokee that won't start even after a new battery

It sounds kind of like you have bad alternator. The alternator uses the engines power to recharge the battery. When you replaced the battery the car ran off battery power untill it died. If the car will run while hooked up to another car while being jump started then the problem is deffinetely the alternator..

Please give a good rating, it is very importat to us..
