You need to remove the complete dial display to access the individual bulbs at the back to do that all dash trim around the dial display must be carefully removed to expose the screws to get the display out be careful when getting it out the dash the display loom must still be unplugged usually the length of the loom is just enough to get ur hand in to unplug

What number is the odometer fuse for the 2007 Chevy Uplander

There is no fuse for just the odometer, has main fuses for the whole instrument cluster . Odometer not working? instrument cluster problem. Have it checked by a professional repair shop.

Odometers
Each instrument panel cluster (IPC) is equipped with a season odometer and 2 trip odometers. The IPC uses the odometer rolling count message from the powertrain control module (PCM). The rolling count value is determined by counting the speed pulses from the vehicle speed signal (VSS). The IPC uses the rolling count data from the PCM and a software program to determine vehicle mileage. The odometers can be displayed in miles or kilometers. The units displayed is switched between English and metric by pressing the menu button on the driver information center (DIC) until the units mode is displayed. Pressing the set/reset button will select between English or Metric. . When the set/reset button is pressed to show the odometer in metric, km and the number will be displayed. When the odometer is in English, MI and the number will be displayed.

Season Odometer
The season odometer displays the total accumulated miles or kilometers of the vehicle. This value is permanently stored in the IPC. If an odometer malfunction occurs or if the IPC must be replaced, an authorized Delco service center must be contacted to program proper vehicle specifics, including mileage, for the IPC. The season odometer is capable of displaying 999,999 kilometers or 999,999 miles depending on units selected. Leading zeros are not displayed. The display will not roll-over to 000,000 if the maximum displayed miles or kilometers are reached. If the display limit is exceeded, the maximum value (999,999) is displayed. If the mileage is above 621,503 miles and metric units are selected the odometer shall display 999,999 km.

Circuit/System Testing
Ignition OFF, raise the vehicles drive wheels.
Engine ON, transmission in drive, verify the scan tool Vehicle Speed Sensor parameter matches the speedometer display.
? If the Vehicle Speed Sensor parameter does not match the speedometer display, replace the IPC.
Verify that the odometer is operating properly.
? If the odometer is not operating properly, replace the IPC.

10k miles added to my odometer after oil change and reset light

The oil change light will come on automatically after a set number of miles (possibly 7,000 for your car). Here's how to reset the oil light:

(a) Set the odometer display window to ODO with the button.
(b) Turn the ignition switch (key) off.
(c) Press and hold down the reset button, and then turn the key to the ON or ACC position. Keep holding down the reset button for at least 5 seconds after you've turned the key.
(d) The next time you start your car the warning light should be off.

1992 Saturn odometer is multiplying the miles on the odometer for every .5 miles it registers 2 miles

Have you changed the size of the tires ?
If not, the speed sensor or the odometer could be faulty.

Odometer stopped working

How many miles are on this vehicle? I ask because the odometers in these car stop working around the 140k to 170k mark. Did the button comeback? Is this the mileage on the digital or analog trip meter?
The process to change the odometer gear is fairly straight forward and takes less than $20 and an hour. Let me know.

My required matenance light came on in my 2007 scion tc is this a very serious problem

Make sure the car is in "off" position.
Press and hold the odometer button.
While pressing the button switch the starter to 'on' position.
You will see 5 lines appearing on the odometer display. The lines will vanish one by one.
Release the odometer button.
Light will be off!!!!!

(Note: each line on the odometer display represents1000 miles. I5 lines mean 5000 miles, meaning that the light will be turning on after 5000 miles. To reduce the mileage to, lets say 3000 miles, realease the odometer button if 2 lines are vanisahed)

2000 F150 5.4V8, digital display of odometer will go dark, works

I have ran into this problem myself. I had to get a new cluster from the dealer and have them reprogram the old mileage into the new cluster. I have seen this problem a lot in ford.
