Heater blows on feet on passenger side not on drivers side

Check if the air ducts on the driver's side are not blocked or clogged. If they are, fix the blockage and see if it fixes the problem. If not, the heating control valve might be the problem. This valve manages the airflow from the heater to the feet. It won't let any airflow to the feet if it is stuck in the closed position. Hope that is helpful

My 2005 ford focus ... the defroster button is on defrost and no air comes out of the defroster to the front windshield but blows out at your face and feet??? trying to get this fixed before snow flies...

well if it blows out at your feet you know the blower is running (as it's a common problem for blower motor shaft to rust up from AC condensate drain plugged up) but in your case it sounds like the air diverter damper arm actuator is broken or just stuck (yes it can rust too) you'll need to remove toe space cover to gain access to it on passenger side floor move heater contol back and forth to watch it move Or (NOT) you may have to free this up or replace it

Heater only blows out defrost

The defrost position is the default for safety so that air always blows on the windshield in case of frost.
The most common problem is a faulty blend door under the dash.
In most cases the door must be calibrated with a scan tool if you replace it.

Heater fan works fine; no heat. What are possible causes?

There are little doors under the dash that direct the air to either the vents (blows at your face), the defrost (blows at the windshield), or underneath (blow to your feet area) - these doors are controlled by what's called actuator/s and they are usually controlled by vacuum or cables - when the air won't change directions it can be either the vacuum switch, the vacuum line disconnected, cable disconnected or the actuator itself can be stuck or bad...

You also have a heater valve that allows the heated coolant to enter the passenger compartment into a heater core (small radiator to allow heat to transfer into the air when the blower blows air across the core) - this can also be vacuum controlled or cable controlled or electronically controlled - if it malfunctions then you may not get any heat into the passenger compartment - you will have to determine if the valve is not getting the signal to open or is bad and will not open - good luck :O)

1994 Jeep Wrangler, heater problems

Sounds like the blend door that diverts air flow inside the heater box is not working, or, the heater control valve on the heater hoses in the engine bay is not closing.

Blower motor on a 2004 canyon

the heater motor should be located on the passenger side either under the dash by passenger's feet or under the hood on the firewall(wall closest to the windshield) there should be a wire or small wire harness going to it .
looks like half cylinder bolted to firewall
