Have heat on one side in Chevy Silverado why

Lots of video help in the link. Some vehicles have a shim kit which you have to buy as an extra part kit. Mine does.

Slide control obviously not working.

i just went through this in my 99 silverado.It was as easy as to change the accuator. i had to bring it to a garage and the mechacnic had to syncrinize them through computer settings.I hope this helps Dan

check plug under seat look for corrsived prongs in plug

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.

heated seat eliment needs replaced. or unplog

Check the Fuse? Check the switch, check for power to unit.

there is a motor actuator that moves these doors for hot and cold, two separate ones for either side. the motor unit for drivers side is no good and needs new one. replace this and all will be good.

Had the same thing happen to my truck, the blen door actuator is under the console on passenger side, but the heater core is going to be clogged if you dont have any heat coming through, but a/c works..

You will need to replace your driver side temp actuator. It is most likely sticking or over travelling. It is located under the dash directly below the a/c control head. It is bolted to the a/c box upside down with two small bolts. Let me know if i can help more.
