the spark and fueling computer called PCM
is answered on your last post.
why not just add to same one post. and not create vast posts all on same topic.
sometimes the neutral safety switch goes out and thus it doesn't start... I had that go out in my 96 jeep cherokee sport 4x4... changed the fuel pump out and then found out... I had it changed so I don't know how to do that part.... anyway hope that helps
Let me be clear here. Crank means turn. Ignite means start running. So it will crank but not ignite and ur sure u have 35psi of fuel pressure. Next is to have someone gently wiggle the wires at the engine control unit while u turn the key
this is a fuel problem, fuel pump is bad, or fuel filter is clogged up. check to see if fuel pump is working. check fuses and relays if it does not work. to rule out a bad fuse or relay.
I just posted a simular resonse in another post. What is sounds like it that the fuel pump is starting to go bad. When it heats up after use the pressure drops not pusing the full amount of fuel. Whenits cold it works fine until it heats back up 10-20 mins. remember fuel in the tank helps cool the pump so keep it soewhat full but sounds like the damage is done. your probally gonna have to replace it.
good morning to you and welcome to fixya.com. hope we can get you fixed here. just a couple of questions first? have you changed the fuel pump yet? if so where did you buy the pump from? your pump is actually building up to much resistence and is unable to overcome it in turn no power is getting to pump as needed. i have a grand cherokee with 230k so i love hearing that you have that many miles. lets keep you rolling. let me know and ill help you out.
