Looking for location of oil sending unit location on 03 jaguar x type 2.5l

It cuts power to the fuel pump when the car suffers crash damage.

The inertia switch is located in the footwell behind the trim on the right-hand side of the vehicle, forward of the front door post, below the fascia. A finger access hole allows the driver to reset the switch.

the casing either unscrews from the top or there is a bolt that goes up from the bottom and must come out.. be ready to catch the fuel when removing..most are spin on like the engine oil filter..but you must bleed the air out or the car will not start..

There are many places that Oil can come from.

Most common is the Valve Cover but you need to spray the engine down and then look very closely to find some of them... Oil Pressure Sending Units, Intake, Water Jackets, The list goes on and on.

the is the pressure sensor on the abs unit that controls the brake pressure. the cost depends where you are . it is cheaper to buy online

The oil pressure sender unit should be located in the right front corner of the engine block, near the oil filter.

it is possible that the shocky on that side is faulty so a replacement would fix it if that is the fault
rather than being a "frozen "unit
it is more likely a broken unit that is allowing the suspension to bottom out on the bump
Take it to an accredited front suspension shop and have them do a front end check

There is a updated sending unit available from Jaguar stores. It is located next to the oil filter housing on the Driver side of the block, under the intakle manifold. P.S. you will need a "crow foot wrench" and an extension to change it. This is a very frustrating part to replace due to location. If you are handy, it can be accessed a little more easy by loosing and pulling back the intake, but that is tricky also.

oil sending sensor could be bad. I know a few different type of cars have trouble with the oil sending unit. They all pretty much do the same thing, "oil light comes on at idle and goes off as you drive". But on the other hand it could be a little more serious.

Low engine oil pressure can cause a fuel pump to shut off. Its a safety feature included in most vehicles any more to prevent running an engine with little or no oil and burning up the engine itself. Make sure the engine has enough oil, and then look for the oil sending unit. Could be bad, or going bad.
Try replacing the fuel filter. I would imagine it to be located under the car, inline with the fuel lines, otherwise consult your owners manual for the location.
Look for any broken ground wires in and around the engine compartment and possibly around the fuel tank itself. Could be dirty, corroaded, or just not making a good connection.
The last thing, I can think of would be a bad fuel pump. I've taken fuel pumps out of the fuel tank before where trash was cloging the first filter and rendering its capability, before finally burning up.
