Sprinter EDC light stays on and engine wont fire up,anybody with an idea how to switch it off.
You need to have it scanned with diagnostic equipment to find cause, repair fault & reset ecu

Hi, My thoughts exactly ( fuel leak). Is this a deisel or gas engine?
In both cases be very careful with lights or cigarettes.
You can smell it when you get out of car in a garage or stall.

Run the usual codes test first. If that does not help, check for spark, correct fuel pressure, timing belt, ect.
