SOURCE: timing marks on engine

Use the timing marks on the damper for the crank and bring it to 0 on the cam there are marks that correspond with a mark on the head. Look on autozone dot com and put in the year make and model then look at the free repair guides.

SOURCE: MY OPEL CORSA UTILITY 1.4I BAKKIE LOSES POWER WHEN STARTING UP AND ENGAGING FIRST GEAR ALSO WHEN DRIVING UP HILL.BUT AS YOU DRIVE IT EVENTUALY PICK UP.

Sounds like restricted exhaust--most likely bad cat converter.

SOURCE: Hi I have tried starting my Opel corsa bakkie sport (2007 model) and the engine cranked but it doesn't take (it just won't start). So I just want to know what can the problem be?

Have you checked for fuel delivery to the engine? Test the fuel pressure, the test port in located on the engine in the rail/pipe that supplies fuel to the injectors, the fitting looks like a large fill stem (AKA Shrader valve) on your tires.

SOURCE: my opel corsa utility 1.4 bakkie isnot starting. sounds like a flat battery but when I check my battery I get 12 volts

Test the battery for load not volts. Use a load tester. If it falls below 9volts under load replace battery. If the battery is older than 3 years old replace it. A bad battery will damage the alternator (full field condition).

Hi I have a 1.80lt Opel Corsa sport. I get strong fumes when the vehicle is parked, What can be the problem ?

Petrol or gasoline fumes or another type? A small coolant leak can create a strong odour, usually a spicy smell.

A cooking battery smells rather acidic.

Vauxhall/Opel fuel lines aren't the greatest and sometimes develop a small leak and this also applies to the fuel tank breather hoses - but these are possible problems only when regular maintenance isn't thoroughly carried out.

OPEL CORSA 1.4 2005

could be a number of thinks. spark plugs, as engine cold more fuel is added and if the spark is no good anymore it will not burn the fuel correctly in way fulds the spark plugs. other could be the fuel filter. and another can be the air filter. but would start with the spark plugs. most common problem. but if the others have not been done in a long time i would do them to. all these parts can restrict the engine.

Opel Corsa 1.4 bakkie jerks on pull away and sluggish in performance and cuts out

Add fuel injector cleaner to fuel and see if that helps.
If problem goes away then you're lucky.
If problem abates a little, then fuel injector change may be warranted.

98 opel corsa 1.4 bakkie fuel consumption is high and cuts out

Sounds like a fuel pressure regulator problem. Pull a spark plug and see if it is black on the end.
