You need to enter the security radio code! If you do not have this you can request it from this link: Radio Codes United Kingdom Gumtree
Not all Kia radios use a security code. In fact, many do not. This would only be helpful to a small group of people.
PsyintZ, I am not trying to help any group small or otherwise, In actual fact my answer was only for Chris Williams 2013 Kia that does require a radio code after the battery died, being in the car audio trade for the past 30 years I have come across many makes of car radios including Kia and many more than a small group of people would require radio codes as nearly every modern car audio system will have a security code!

SOURCE: Radio Anti-Theft turned on.
i had the same vehicle and my code was 8040. What really bothered me was this car was sooooo cheap, the stereo was cheap, the whole integrity of the car is cheap, however they have an anti theft on the stereo. ha ha lol! Don't spend any money trying to figure it out, either pick up a new stereo or give the car away!
SOURCE: Engine turns over but wont start
Check the cam sensor and crankshaft sensor. If either of these are defective the engine will not start or may start intermittenly.
SOURCE: Car won't start
