Bad ground wires. Inside they will be at the steering column under the dash. And on on each side behind the side kick panels. Also check the battery to body ground and engine to body ground.

it's normal if it's what I think, fuel gauge goes to half on the right side and the farthest gauge to the left goes to half, if it's the case it's the security system that does that after about 10 or 15 minutes they both go back to zero, but as soon as you unlock the door and open it they go back to half until you start it....

jump start the vehicle and check the charging system, could be your battery is sulfated, or it could be a bad starting system odd chance it could be the starter. if you have a digital multimeter handy, get a jump and check for the voltage at the battery terminals with the engine runing, anything less then 13.8 and its not charging, optimal is 14.2v dc.
