Having trouble pairing the fury jump jet the light keeps blinking how do I fix the problem

I don't know year--make--model? The blinking light may mean there is a problem that could damage the cat, you need to fix it. Any applicable trouble codes? How long since a tune-up?

I would check for fuel,(pressure and injector pulse), spark, and compression, before checking any codes. Lack of any of these basics can result in codes, and then you waste alot of time chasing a symptom, instead of the actual problem.If more people followed basic diagnostics, which always come back to these three basics, rather than chasing codes first,they would find no starts much more quickly.

85 fury with a center brake light? Did someone add this light and wire it to the right tail light. You need to wire it to the brake switch.

What kind of spark plugs did you put in it? The 4.0 litre engines in these trucks require PLATINUM spark plugs. If you put the wrong ones ( regular copper) it will miss fire and run like a bag of garbage. I had a similar problem with mine, the previous owners said "oh we changed the plugs and wires". They also changed the ignition coil not long before I took delivery. So, truck still ran like **** they said they even had to reset the inertia switch under the passenger side kick panel, everyone thought it was a fuel problem. I decided to pull one plug and volia..Wrong plugs. That also explains why they had to change the ignition coil. Hope this helps.

Most likely a bad egr valve. Take a paper clip. Jump pins A to B at the 12 pin diagnostic connector. (Top right pair wires in the connector - or - Lower left pair of wires depending on orientation) Turn key on. Count the "blinks" of the check engine light. All codes are 2-digit. Short blinks are the ones digit and long blinks are the tens digit. EACH CODE REPEATS 3 TIMES AND THE GOES TO THE NEXT CODE SET. You will get code "12" first..."b l i n k- blink-blink" It will repeat 3 times. I bet the next code will be "32" EGR system malfunction

sorry to say yes its the radio other than remove it and unplug the connectors it will continue to drain your battery, the memory curcuit shorted out inside the radio,thats the part that keeps the stations memorized when the key is off,

Have the throttle position sensor checked.

1st u have to find out what trouble code is turning on the CEL (check eng light), then we can talk possiable causes and fix estimates, go to Kragen auto or Autozone and ask to have a trouble code test run, it is free.
