What is the name of the part that seats beside the fuel pump and it round with three lines that can run to it

Check for fuel at the carb fuel inlet if it has fuel lightly tap on the fuel fitting to unstick the needle from the seat. If I remember right there's a booster pump under he left side of the truck check to see if it's running and pumping fuel.

Try soldering it. And electrical tape might work

There is usually a special tool to remove the locking ring for the fuel pump. A hammer and punch can do the same thing. First disconnect your battery, unplug fuel pump, remove locking ring and any fuel lines on top, the fuel pump should be able to be removed after this

On most cars there is a small panel hidden underneath the back seats usually a round disk with three screws ! Normally on the same side as the filler cap ! Hope this helps ;)

The damage is already done before you put the fuel filter in. (dirt in Carb)
Remove your carb and dissesemble it and clean everything out and then put back on the machine with FRESH gas and you will be fine...run like a top !

if it has no electrical wires it is a fuel filter. if it has some wiring probably a fuel pump.if you have dual gas tanks it makes more sense for it to be a fuel pump because you have a delivery line plus a return line from each tank it may also be a fuel tank switch module... as models do vary some.

Between the drive line and floor of the van. You should see three fuel lines that are hard plastic. Two lines run to the fuel module the other runs forward to the engine. This is the fuel filter. The fuel pump and strainer are located inside the fuel tank.

There are three possible locations for this component due to different production dates/locations: under hood, passenger side, rear engine area, below firewall, mounted in fuel line or under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line or under vehicle, driver side, below rear seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line

Easiest method to find, follow the fuel pump lines from the tank forward, you'll find the filter.

If you change the filter, it's not a bad idea to put a little Gumout fuel injector cleaner directly into that new filter, about 1/2 full before reinstalling, that will give your injectors a quick clean. It can cause a short sputter or two but I've never seen it cause a problem and it does help clean the fuel system quickly.

You'll also want to remember to turn the key on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds, alternating until the fuel pressure builds before trying to start the vehicle, after repairs are made to either the pump or the filter.

Use caution when removing lines, pressure and flammable !

Fuel pump is accessed through a hole below the back seat. Remove the seat and there is a rubber round cover over each fuel pump. Fuel pumps are held in place with a large round retaining ring that is screwed off.
