    why not use wiki, it's all there.
    learn to use wiki for car basics specs.
    only Daewoo suzuki's use odd engines.

    if you read the full wiki, even what assembly plant world wide is told
    or if you read your VIN, tells you same fact.
    just avoid all suzuki with daewoo, gm mixed parts. what a mess that. and chapter 11 of SUzuki in usa and canada. avoid that.

Take it to a citroen agent. the 2004 and 2005 had faulty turbos and thats the fault. Citroen parts are the same but cheaper.

SUSUKI VITARA 2008 ENGINE
Hello, I think Suzuki offered Peugeot/Citroen Diesel engines in the earlier models but started offering Renault Diesel in 2006. I believe that the gas motors were all Suzuki.
