Question about Honda Cars & Trucks

I have a coolstart remote starter on my 2005 Honda Accord and recently my battery died. After replacing my battery the remote start would not start the car. The engine cranks but does not start.

Need to bring back to whomever installed remote start for them to reprogram the remote start. Seems it needs to be re mated to cars system.

Testimonial: "Everything works. Doors lock and unlock, the engine even cranks, just will not fire with remote starter. Which leaves me to believe the remotes are synced."

My Honda Accord wont start even with a jump. The lights come on but wont turn over. No click, no sound, no nothing

IT's those short drives that burn down a battery! The starting of an engine requires mucho electric to get it running. The alternator then charges the battery, but slowly! If you also have the lights and stereo on it is even slower. Get the battery FULLY charged with a commercial battery charger. Then check to see if the alternator is charging up the battery after you start it. If not, replace the alternator. If the battery dies overnight or in a few days...replace the battery.

2005 Honda Accord will not start, just clicks when turn the key. Tried tapping the starter and rocking the car.

Sometimes if your battery is low there is just enough power to start to close the starter relay but not enough to get past the resistance in the switch. I'm guessing what you hear is the starter relay opening and closing because the battery cannot supply enough power to make it to the starter. My guess would be that you need a new battery or at least a good charge. If you or someone you know has a voltmeter you can check the battery. Just sitting in the car it should be very close to 12 volts. If it is at 10 volts or below it needs to be replaced.
