How do I solve a hesitation problem on range rover vogue v8 petrol.the machine gave me a fault ,throttle control range not learnt.last occurrence-plausibility

You don't say what year model you have. If it is "fly-by-wire" it may have a bad gas pedal sender unit. If not, could be a bad TPS.

have throttle body checked also the MDK throttle motor,
make sure that the dealer has followed service bulletin 12 07 99 for procedure to replace the MDK throttle motor
also have them check for codes, here are some codes,
it could be an expensive job, have them check everything,it is most likely the throttle motor,,throttle body is 600 if they switch it,dont let them do it without checking throttle motor,

I keep getting all these cods p0102 p1120 p1220 p1221 p1514 p1516 p0102 p1120

Hi Robert, It would help us to know which vehicle as the codes very well may be vehicle specific.Ford seem to have codes of that numerical range, so I'm assuming your vehicle is made by Ford.
P1120 refers to the Air flow sensor. P1120 the throttle position sensor. 1220 Series Throttle Control Fault (probably related to the TPS) 1221 Refers to the high speed fuel pump relay having been activated. 1516 Intake manifold runner input error. Cannot find P1514 Hope this is helpful. I suggest sorting out the air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor to begin with and that may sort out the other defects. Very often one sensor giving an error reading will trigger others. Regards John

I have a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis, that had the check engine light come on last night. I stopped, and had a auto store check for the code, and it showed a code of P1120. They could not tell me what this...

The code indicates P1120 TPS Out Of Range Low according to the ODB 2 chart. Get a Haynes or Chilton's manual to get instructions on how to make this repair.
