Usually a new computer has to be programmed. Was the computer programmed?
Voltage to the load and control side of asd relay, is hot all the time. The computer grounds the control side of asd relay for it to energize.
The code is for idle air system, the computer controls that wiring circuit.

My 1996 JEEP grand Cherokee limited 4.0 is not getting spark to the plugs, i changer the crank sensor, and the coil, what else could be causing no spark, i was driving it and it just shut off wouldn't...

How long since tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Did you check primary voltage to ignition coil, engine cranking, dark green wire with orange tracer, use a test light and check for voltage. That voltage comes from asd relay. You may need to check cam and crank sensor, both. I realize you changed the crank sensor, already. Some makes and models, the computer has to see cam and crank signal, both, or it won't ground the asd relay.

Could be other issues?

Dodge Carivan 2005 3.3 where does its get its signial from to fire the coil

With the engine cranking, check primary voltage at ignition coil, brown wire with white tracer. Use a test light. That voltage comes from asd relay, the aasd relay supplies voltage to several systems, the ignition coil and fuel injectors, just to name a couple.
Usually the computer has to see both the cam and crank sensor signals or it won't ground the asd relay. No asd relay action, no primary voltage to several systems. Just my opinion.

03 t&c crank/no start, no fire to coil drivers

Did you check primary voltage to ignition coil, engine cranking?. Brown wire with white tracer, use a test lite. That voltage comes from asd relay, the asd relay supplies voltage to several systems. If the computer doesn't ground the asd relay, my first thought is to check signals from cam and crank sensors. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

Cannot get coil to fire plugs new parts

Hope you can read diagram, it's a little small? Did you check primary voltage at ignition coil, engine cranking? Use a test light, brown wire with white tracer, should have voltage, engine cranking. That voltage comes from asd relay. Engine cranking, you have fuel injector pulse and proper fuel pressure? I'm just trying to decide if more than one issue? The asd relay supplies voltage to several systems. Any applicable trouble codes? Battery has a full charge? The computer grounds the control side of asd relay, I believe on this vehicle, the computer has to see both the cam and crank signals or it won't ground the asd relay. There could be other issues? I can only help with testing.

05 neon, shutdown while driving, has p0522 and p0340. Has no fire. Cam sensor replaced, no obvious signs of damage to any wiring. Help?

Usually dodge--Chrysler--Plymouth, the computer has to see both the cam and crank sensor signals or it won't ground the asd relay. The asd relay supplies voltage to several systems, dark green wire with orange tracer, primary voltage to ignition coil and fuel injectors just to name a couple. There could be other issues, like a problem with wiring circuits, somewhere or voltage.
The p0522 is oil pressure sender, low voltage. The other code does relate to cam sensor. Before I replace a sensor, I try to check wiring circuits.

I have a 2005 dodge neon that will crank but wont start. I have replaced the cam shaft sensor, crank sensor and the coil pack. Iam also not getting spark to the coil pack. Any suggestions?

Primary voltage to several systems, including the ignition coil, dark green wire with orange tracer. That voltage comes from asd relay. There is a fuse for asd relay. To check for voltage the engine has to cranking. The control side of asd relay, the computer has to ground it before it will energize. Did you check wiring circuits for cam and crank sensor connectors before replacing sensors? Are there any applicable trouble codes?
Are you ok with testing wiring circuits?

Crank on start has fuel has spark, has had fuel pump miss diaged and replaced, new cam sensor, new coil pack, not sure if timing is off or bad asd relay or bad pcm

I think if you have spark, the asd relay is working.

You are right: check for power to injectors. Or spray some starting fluid into the throttle body intake, and see if it fires for a few seconds. If it does, probably the injector circuit. Then check compression. If compression is good on all cylinders, timing is probably right.

Have you checked for possible trouble codes?

1997 neon will not start

Check the ASD relay in under hood fuse/ relay box. ASD stands for automatic shut down relay. Powers up pcm ,fuel injectors and ignition system an O2sensor heaters .crank over the car an check for power at O2sensor heater fuse in the underhood fuse box ,no power means bad relay !

I have a 2002 dodge intrepid cranks but no spark.changed cam shaft sensor and crank sensor., all new plugs but still no spark....please help ..thanks

Hi Leroy, Im glad to help!

Here's a couple things you can try. First, swap the ASD Relay with one of the same type relays in the relay box. If it still doesn't start check every fuse. If it still doesn't start check power and ground at the "COIL PACK" If power and ground are good Replace the Coils Pack. If there is no power and ground at the coil pack then make certain you are getting power from the ignition switch to the ASD Relay. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Leroy.
