Hi Brian. The code could be written down in a manual and may even have been written on the side of the radio by a previous owner. If you remove the radio and note down the make, model, serial number and barcode details and do a google search you may find the code. Or you can upload those details here and see if anyone can help. Failing all that, if it is an original factory fitted your local dealer may be able to find it for you.

Checked out all the ideas... someone else had exactly same problem...(in the 407's..common problem is the on/off knob does NOT work...it only works the volume control)- IN THE END IT CAME DOWN TO SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS PULLING THE VOLUME CONTROL KNOB OFF & PRESSING THE ON/OFF SWITCH UNDERNEATH...DID THAT & HEY PRESTO...MY RADIO WORKS AGAIN !!.... Thanks anyway "STEVE LUCK" for your ideas / suggestions... just shows that these sites can be very helpful !!
    Brian.

I have a 2004 Nissan Quest. First, the speakers started popping off, then radio wouldn't work anymore. We pulled the fuse under the hood and reinserted it. When it sparks radio will come back on....

if you are having radio issues where you have to mess with the fuse to make it work i would say it is the culprit for the battery draw, a lot of radios trigger the eject when power is reconnected for the memory wire, that is not a problem with the radio.
try unplugging the radio and see if that fixes the battery draw.

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck

CD player not working correctly

Try turning off the radio and disconnecting the battery for 1 min and then reconnecting the battery. Turn on the radio and see if that reset the radio so you can get your CD out and try cleaning the CD player with a cd player cleaner. Note you have to make sure the radio is off before you disconnect the battery. Good luck and hope this helps

Toyota Avalon 2000 xls cd player does not work

If you are using "home-made" or "burnt" CDs, this can happen. Sometimes, you can remove the radio from the dash, and unplug it. That may reset the CD player, and the discs will eject.
It works for me about 85% of the time. Hope this helps.
