please double check that you don't have a bad key fob. If not, then you would need to think back to when the problem first started. If it was just after an oil change or repair, then one of the technicians might have accidentally mixed up some wire connections. You would just need to go back to them to update the error.
At the proper fuse, did you check for voltage at the fuse circuit, hot all the time. For the horn relay in the picture, pin 8 is hot all the time. If you use proper jumper wire between pin 8 and pin 10, the horn should sound. If it does, have to check coil/control side of relay, voltage and ground.
The horn button and wiring in steering column is part of horn relay ground circuit.
check horn fuse and relay.if both good hot wire horn if it works the horn button pad need replacing meaning you have to replace the whole horn pad and airbag in the steering wheel.if horn dont work when hot wired more likely horn is bad.
Hi there. I’m
pretty sure your Honda has two horns fitted which work together, but each one
has a different tone.Of course, when
one of the horns is not working the sound (tone) of the horn system sounds
different.Any reasonable Auto
Electrician will be able to locate the horn/s and quickly identify whether it’s
an electrical problem or just a faulty horn – in this case it’s probably one
non-working horn which should be replaced.Hope this helps, Scottech.
