Need more info....this is a 3 quarter ton so is this a 7.3 diesel or a gas engine? There can be several problems with the Truck. There's 3 things that make the Truck run which is Spark, Compression & Gas. Sounds like you have Spark & Compression. I believe you have a fuel problem. Check both fuel filters & replace them. If you have a diesel its more than likely the filter as well!
Is there an Engine light on? Check the code if it is!

Could be a fuel blockage (filter) or a faulty crank angle sensor can cause that theres many things that can cause this to happen.

check the tightness on the oil plug and the filter sometimes we think we get them tight enough but not for the machine

Dies after running about 2 minutes

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.

Make sure and check your ignitioin fuse if its out the car will start it just wont stay running verry long sometimes in most cases will turn over but not start

3.3lt engine, the engine will start and idle fine for approx' 5 minutes, then it just dies.....will not even fire again for 15 minutes or so, then will only run for a 30 seconds and die.....if you try...

It sounds like your fuel pump is going bad.
