I have a 2003 stratus and it wont start it wont even crank but everything else works like lights and all the electrical and what not I'm thinking its the crank sensor... Any ideas???
In a HOT day,old battery and fuel pump will be the prime troublemaker.
You need to charge up the battery and check for 12.4-13.6V range.
How old is the battery?
Most are warrenty for 24,48 or 96 months.

Fuel pump motor portion will ran forever. But the plastic diaphragm will give out in a hot day.
Do a fuel injector pressure test. Below 40 pis is trouble.
Fuel filter should be change if the fuel pump is at fault.
ALL more gas until it's over 1/2 tank and re-test.
A weak fuel pump will take more effort to pull fuel from a near empty tank.
Good luck,
