you have to pull engine or trans to get to it .
why gue$$?
why not post the symptoms, first.

let me guess,
car misfires or dont start
the ask in the internet for hubby
and find that there are 1000s telling you
that the CKP is bad,
but not one (useless guesser) knows it takes
pull the engine or pull the transmision before there useless drivel guess.
if you scan the PCM and there is no CKP errors
there are ARE NONE
the PCM will report 1 in 10 pulses missing
if you crack the book the FSM , suzuk factory service manual it tells you exactly that,
on all G16 engine and up. facts.

so instead of guessing or posted wild goosechase
easter egg hunts.?
why not, pray tell,
ask how to diagnose symptoms??
guessing really doesn't work
in fact if car misfires, 50 causes. or wont start
i have list but why look why guess.

Where is the crankshaft position sensor located on a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant 4 cylinder

Hello, crank position sensor located at the 2 o`clock position hidden behind timing cover and crank shaft pulley. If you look closely in well lit area or use a flashlight you can follow the (CCPS) harness down the right hand side of timing cover to where it goes into lower timing cover on lower right hand side of crank shaft pulley. It can be replaced with out removing timing belt. Please note if the 60,000 miles heavy service interval for timing belt is needed and water pump condition should be observed when repairing the crank position sensor.

Locate crankshaft sensor on 1996 crystler New yorker (where is the crank shaft found on a 1996 Crystler NewYorker?

The crank shaft is actually an internal mechanical part of the engine (see last picture) however the crank shaft position sensor uses through what they call a "hall effect" with a componant inside the transmission. The crank shaft turns which in turn turns the componant inside the transmission. Below are a couple of pictures of the location of the crankshaft position sensor as well as what the plug looks like so you know you are removing the correct part. Hope this helps.....

CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR 20002 NISSAN ALTIMA

1st, Nissan had a recall on Crank position sensors for 2002-2006 Altima's. Check with you dealer before you go doing any repairs. You may discover you can get your car repaired at no charge.
NHTSA Campaign ID number :O7V527000
Symptom: Erratic behavior. Stalling and no starts and very difficult to diagnose due to the time frame in which the component actually malfunctions. The warranty should not be limited to the original owner.
I would also need more specifics as to which engine you have so I might assist you in where the location of the sensor is. The Altima had a 4 and a 6 cyl engine offered that year.
