SOURCE: transfer case oil change- 1999 Land Rover Discovery II

No need for a diagram, to drain the oil, there's a drain plug on the bottom of the transfer box, under the handbrake drum. To fill, the fill plug is about in line with the centre of the handbrake drum and to the left. I think both plugs are 1/2" square. Fill to overflow with Texaco Multi-Gear 75W/90R. Takes about 2L or so.

If you're standing looking at the rear of the vehicle, it's on the chassis rail on the right hand side rear wheel arch.

Land Rover Discovery Series II has the lights on the left front, rear left on at all times. Is it a fuse?

Unlikely to be a fuse blown. Doesn't your Discovery have Daytime Running Lights? If so the right side might be a blown fuse. If the rear lights are on, that mean you have the nighttime lights on.

Unable to locate spider box on 1997 land rover discovery need diagram or picture

Unless you strip the entire car interior, you will be lucky to find it. Not even land rover knows where it is, at the factory they fitted them in many different places, this was for security reasons. Believe me , i have hunted for it as well, and ended up stripping the car. Good luck.
