Fuse location for cruise control

Since there is no throttle cable, there is no "cruise control" fuse. The fuses used are #7, 9,and 13 in the under hood fuse/relay box and #18 in the under dash fuse/relay box. The most common failure is a bad brake pedal switch. Does the cruise control main switch "on" light work when the switch is pressed? The gauge control module (instrument panel) and the PCM control the cruise control.

Where is the cruise control fuse

The power for the cruise control comes through fuse #14 in the fuse box. From there it goes to the Cruise Control Switch. However, the Cruise Control Module is above the Fuse/Relay box, behind the dash board. Good-Day!

Cruise on 98 zx2 works sometimes?

Has your check engine light been coming on? The cruise will not work if there are certain fault codes stored in the computer. The next questions are: has your airbag light been coming on? Does your horn work when the cruise is not working? These can be clues to a bad clockspring assembly in the steering column - which would affect your cruise.

MY CRUISE CONTROL AND THE CAR CHARGER WON'T WORK. COULD IT BE FUSES?

the best way of checking the fuses is look at the diagram on the fuse panel door see what runs on that fuse for the cruise and charger then run that item i.e cruise and heater may run on the same circuit so in that case the cruise don't work then try the heater if it works then its not the fuse if it don't then its pry the fuse or you can get a cheap 12 volt test light and test to see if you are getting power to the accesory if not then then there is another problem.

Cruise control not working

Fuse is marked "ASC" 10A Speed Control (passenger compartment fuse box), most likely this will not be the problem, and if th fuse blew then there is a short and it won't work, the most common cause is the cruise control switch circuit.

CRUISE CONTROL QUIT WORKING ON 94 RANGER 4.0L 4X4

there is a control box for the cruise control behind the glove box . You can remove the cover by pushing in from both sides of the glove box door . the control box will be just inside the glove box to the top. it simply unplugs. any junk yard with an aerostar or ranger or explorer will have one of these control boxes fairly cheap. these control boxes are commonly known to just quit workingand are a very easy fix.
