When i turn the dial to 4wheel low the light

check actuator may be sticking or 4x4 module faulty

If you are attempting to put into 4wheel low range, truck must be placed in natural first. Then push button for low range.

Sounds like the actuator on the transfer case. I had that problem on a 97 4x4 Sonoma. Let us know if that fixes it.

just crawl under it and replace the two hall sensors on your transfer case im about 90% sure thats the problem

Sounds like the actuator on the front axle is bad.

sound like the electronic actuators are not working properly,get your test light out

try selecting from nutreul or less then 3km

try the multiplug connection on top of the tank

you may have a broken transfer box or a damaged locking hub on the wheels that arent used in 4x4 mode, i.e. if your car is FWD unless its in 4-low, check the rear locking hubs for failure. Other wise it sounds like a transmission fault in the aforementioned transfer box or differential.

There are well over 100 problems in the electronics that turn the service engine soon light on, go to autozone or a kragen and they will run the trouble code test for free, then record that code and post it here. As far as the 4X4 goes that problem is most likely the electric motor that engages the 4X4 tranfer case, u will have to have that tested by either a 4X4 shop or the dealer, the dealer is the best option.
