Sounds like a defective flasher module to me. The "Combination Flasher" is located in the junction block (A.K.A. fuse block) in the left end of the dash panel.
I suggest first check FLASHER unit. On2001 Dodge Truck RAM 1500 1/2 ton 4WD 5.2L SFI 8cyl the Flasher is located on seating area, driver side, at the left side ofinstrument panel on fuse block.
Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer and leave a testimonial comment).
Hello Patty - Check the back side of the interior fuse box, should be between the steering column and the fuse box. You should be able to hear it "click" when in use. Most 2500 Rams had a flasher unit that was trailer ready. You may not need this upgrade. I hope this helps.
For 2000 Dodge Truck RAM 1500 1/2 ton 4WD 5.9L SFI 8cylthe Flasher is located:
Seating area, driver side, at the left side ofinstrument panel on fuse block.
sounds like you need a combo flasher assembly..located in fuse block inside vehicle under steering column..there may be a plastic cover under dash you have to remove to see fuse block..large black relay that plugs into fuse block..if you pick up a new one,you will see what it looks like..available at dodge dealer..combo flasher or drl/signal relay
Hello
Welcome to FY
It is located on the drivers side, at the left side of instrument panel located on fuse block. It simply unplugs. They are usually round about the size of a silver dollar with 3 plugs. Can be plastic or metal
