The computer is detecting a problem with the engine, thus the warning light. You need to have the error codes read at a service station. The problem may be simple or complex, a service person needs to take a look.
I think the warning light is meant to be in the shape of a radiator - check your coolant level - it generally means your coolant is low. The coolant level sensor often fails on Mazda's however, so your 'problem' might actually be a dodgy sensor not a lack of coolant at all.
