Does it lose power and die? Does it start cutting out and then lose power? Does it start running poorly when it is cold or only after it warms up? Please give all of the information that you have.
Could be alot of things. Could be a plugged catalytic converter, could be a sensor of some type. Could be that your timing chain is stretched so bad that you need to replace it. How does it run when it's cold? If it idles good, it's either your tmg chain or your converter.
no its not running lean,,,the velves will rattle when cold,,its the way they are,,,the cold start will only stay on for a fuw minuets till the engine temp censor tell it to shut off
Sounds like faulty engine temp sensor. When it drops to cold, the engine control unit picks this up and alters the fuel mixture accordingly. The ECU will be making it a very rich fuel mixture for cold starting, hence very poor running when engine is hot.
HI THE PROBLEM IN THE(ECT) ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR ITS IN THE ENGINE ROOM NEAR THE THERMOSTAT WHEN IT COLD THE ENGINE TAKE THE FUEL AND START UP BUT WHEN THE ENGINE WORM UP THE FUEL IS TOO MUCH AND AFTER HOURS THE ENGINE BE COLD AND NEED TOO MUCH FUEL TO RUN TEST THE (ECT) BY DIAGNOSES DEVICE OR BY (AVO METER) IT RANG 2,5 VOLT WHEN COLD TO 1,1 VOLT WHEN WORM UP IF IT OK THE PROBLEM IN THE FUEL INJECTORS HAVE A LEAK FUEL IN IT
