To locate the specific fuse, you should refer to your owner's manual or the diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover. The fuse box cover should have a labeled diagram showing which fuse corresponds to the power windows. Look for a fuse labeled "PW" or "PWR" for power windows, or check the diagram for any fuses labeled for the window control module or power windows.
Once you have located the correct fuse, use a fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to remove the fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. If the new fuse blows immediately, there may be a problem with the wiring or the power window motor, and it may require further diagnosis by a mechanic.
page 396 shows the panel for the circuit breaker [auto] no fuse for power windows the panel is passenger side door side molding the following link is the owners manual for your vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Owner Manual
Your owners manual should offer a picture or diagrahm of the main fuse block location...the fuse for the power windows is in this block...usually labeled...if not the owners manual diagrahm helps to pinpoint all fuse locations...
I know thta, for a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.
Hope helped with this. Remember rated this help, good luck.
It's a 60 amp FUSE, not a breaker. It's in the fuse box found under the hood. I think it's #6 The other 15 amp fuse is located in the under dash fuse box. I think it's # 17, but I'm not positive. The owners manual will show you where the fuse boxes are located. Charlie
usually power windows have a relay that sends current to the windows due to the high current flow that the switch can not handle.
So, the switch works through a fuse and when you activate the switch it sends power to the relay. The relay then closes and sends power to the window motor. Look for a relay either in the fuse panel or in the engine compartment fuse/relay ox. check owner manual for location.
