I guess on the Carb, at the idle port, its a solenoid I suspect.

If two relays on the same car have two different part numbers on them, there is usually a reason why.

I would check the fan relay and fan fuse. Also the radiator fan switch mounted in the motor could be bad. The fan switch is usually the problem.

I know that you want a simple answer but, have you done any troble shooting steps at the pump its self? when the relay is in does it pump at all? what is your lin pressure?
