SOURCE: driving and car died and now wont start it has power and turns over just wont start

You need to isolate the problem. If it starts when you spray carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking then problem is in fuel system.(pump, pump relay, filter or fuse) If not, then look into ignition system. Use any manual to get specific testing instructions and do not buy anything till you verify by testing that you really need that part or it can get unnecessarily expensive.
If you need more info on anything, just ask, but at the point you are at, careful testing will tell you far more than anyone here can tell you.

SOURCE: i have a 1999 buick regal ls dying.

I found the problem. It was the crank position sensor. There was also a cracked vacuum hose connecting to the diaphragm on the fuel rail. Replaced both and my 92 Buick no longer dies. For the guy who's Buick was dying when using the turn signals - replace the crank position sensor. One of my symptoms of my Buick dying was when I used my turn signals. Use of turn signals places a varying load on the electrical system which messes up the crank posistion sensor if it is going bad.

The check engine light will always come on when the engine stalls. It could be your fuel filter needs replaced or your fuel pump is going out. The fuel pumps can heat up and stop working, then after they have a chance to cool off they will work just fine until they get hot again.

1994 Buick Century 3.1 liter V6. Engine fail and no crank/start hot

The engine in this car is controlled by a computer, whenever a problem like this occurs a fault code is almost always recorded for the event in history memory of the computer. You need a shop to read this code and perform eh proper diagnostics report the problem. Knowing this make i would say the CKP sensor is defective.
