Passenger Sliding door only locks and unlocks manually
The key faub and the indoor lock unlock button do not effect the lock on only that door.the door works and functions fine other than the power lock. is there anything I can do?
Re: Passenger Sliding door only locks and unlocks...
You probably have a bad actuator for that position. Yes, you can replace it or have it replaced. Not a terrible job to do but will have to take off the panel on the door to access this.

If you cannot manually unlock the door, use a rubber hammer and firmly rap the door at the striker/lock area while manually sliding the lock/unlock switch to unlock,it may take a few tries but should unlock.DO NOT lock the door again until you have lubed the lock assembly and are happy with it's operation. If it's an electric lock fail to unlock/lock,with the door open use steel wool on the door post electrical door contact pads once in a while.
This is usually caused by broken plastic parts in the lock system. The best would be to verify and lub all locks and check out the elecrical. ------- kess v2
Have you replaced the battery lately? If so , you could have a bad battery in your key. It is a small microchip in some cares and will effect unlocking and starting the car if the battery is weak or dead.
this is a problem that can appear after your car battery died, cause the car didn't reset propely, so taking the battery out and putting it back in or letting your car die again would do the trick. I tried a lot of reprogramming procedured for my remote key, none of them worked, what did the trick though was simply unlocking the doors via the all door unlock button on the passenger side door, so simple.
