SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

SOURCE: instruction to change cam belt on peugeot 307

If its DIY job then you can download the instructions i have uploaded for you (available for 45 days to download from today).

First of all you need to take off ancillary drive belt.
http://www.gigasize.com/get.php?d=ml20tdk87lf

then follow the instructions to change Cambelt.
http://www.gigasize.com/get.php?d=mb7lpdd4ctc

It is better if you change the tensioner roller and water pump when you change the cambelt as they are running under same belt and suffering the wear & tear as well.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337

How to fill transmission oil in Peugeot 307 automatic gearbox

The drain plug on the bottom of the gear box has two parts the the outer hex if removed will drain the box, and the centre hex when removed is for filling the transmition via a tube inserted into it, and fluid pumped in until it runs out, you must check the level with the gear in park and the engine running.

if you do a google search you can find a diagram showing how it works, I'm sorry I don't have a diagram to show you
let me know how you get on

How do i check my transmission fluid on my 307 peugeot 2002 model

start the car let it run til its ideal temp..take the dipstick out from the transmission fluid, and see where it is. the dipstick will tell you the ideal level of fluid that should be in the car...also if the fluid is black..change it..it should be a reddish color
